About Sean
Sean P. Keenan grew up in Raleigh and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1992, serving five years as a Loadmaster. He traveled extensively before returning to North Carolina to study Government at Campbell University. He was commissioned in the Marine Corps in 2001, earned his Naval Aviator Wings in 2004, and deployed three times to Iraq as a UH-1N Huey pilot. He served as a Commanding Officer and later as an Investigator for the Inspector General of the Marine Corps. He began studying law at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2015, retired from the Marine Corps in 2017, and graduated law school in 2019. He returned to North Carolina to advocate for the voiceless and protect individual rights.
