About Sean

Sean Whitaker initially worked in banking after his undergrad but pursued law school for a more fulfilling career. He interned with the San Diego volunteer lawyer program, helping low-income clients, which solidified his passion for assisting people through difficult legal processes. After graduating law school in 2013, he worked at a small law firm in Phoenix for eight years, handling bankruptcy, civil litigation, estate planning, and primarily family law. He joined Genesis Family Law and Divorce Lawyers, drawn by their client-focused approach. Despite not having personal experience with divorce or children, he uses his legal perspective and empathy to advocate for clients, understanding their emotional burdens and striving for positive outcomes.
