About Seraphim

Seraphim is a relentless trial lawyer fighting for injury victims, leveraging defense experience to win high-stakes cases and maximize results. Seraphim’s litigation experience spans all phases of a case, from discovery and depositions to mediation, arbitration, and trial. He has taken or defended over 100 depositions and has repeatedly won arbitration awards exceeding the opposing party’s last settlement offer. His ability to navigate high-stakes litigation makes him a strong advocate for his clients. Before joining Warnock MacKinlay Law, Seraphim worked at one of Arizona’s largest law firms, defending multi-million and multi-billion dollar corporations in personal injury cases, including trucking liability, product defect, and catastrophic accidents. This experience gives him a strategic advantage, knowing firsthand how large corporations and insurance companies approach litigation. Now, he leverages that insight to maximize results for injury victims. While earning his Juris Doctor at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Seraphim focused on litigation and trial advocacy, earning the CALI Award for Law, Science, and Litigation, the top oral argument score in his Legal Advocacy Course, and recognition as a Pedrick Scholar. He externed for the Honorable Judge Kenton D. Jones at the Arizona Court of Appeals, assisting with decisions in complex criminal and civil cases. As Executive Editor of Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology, he sharpened his legal research and writing skills. Committed to advocacy, he also worked with the Homeless Legal Assistance Project and the ASU Law Post-Conviction Clinic, representing underserved individuals. As part of his advanced trial training at Arizona Trial College, Seraphim successfully presented a wrongful death case before a panel of experienced attorneys and judges, earning a $2.25 million mock verdict-a testament to his ability to craft compelling arguments and deliver results in the courtroom. Outside the courtroom, Seraphim enjoys playing and watching soccer, hiking, writing, and following his favorite teams. A former athlete, he played Division 1 rugby at UC Davis and captained his college soccer team at Cabrillo College. Most importantly, he loves spending quality time with his wife and family, making the most of life outside the legal world.
