Shahrad Milanfar is an Oakland personal injury attorney and mediator focusing on catastrophic personal injury, product liability, nursing home abuse, police brutality/civil rights, and truck accident cases. He is a storyteller who becomes his client’s voice during litigation and trial, highlighted by a recent $32,000,000 verdict. With over 22 years of experience, he has handled catastrophic injury cases including traumatic brain injury, serious orthopedic injuries, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. He consults with other law firms on high-stakes litigation and pre-litigation settlements. Shahrad gained trial experience with the district attorney’s office and as a civil trial attorney, handling cases from inception to verdict. He is a leader in using technology for trial presentations, developing comprehensive courses on iPad use in trials. He is also an experienced mediator, having mediated over 120 cases. Shahrad taught trial skills and coached at Golden Gate University School of Law (2001-2014) and is an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA).
