Stacia Jackson

About Stacia

Stacia was born in Brookings and raised in the Arlington and Sinai area for much of her childhood. She attended middle school and high school in Wisconsin before returning to Brookings to attend South Dakota State University where she earned a degree in History. Stacia graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2019 with honors and was the managing editor of the South Dakota Law Review during her time there. After graduating law school Stacia worked as a law clerk for Chief Justice Gilbertson on the South Dakota Supreme Court. Stacia moved back to the Brookings area after her clerkship with her husband Dan. She looks forward to serving and giving back to the Brookings community. Stacia is working to build her practice in criminal law, family law, and estate planning.
