About Stephen
Stephen Babcock, recognized as Louisiana Lawyer of the Year in 2024, is a dedicated trial attorney, and passionate conservationist and outdoorsman. He earned a BS in marketing from Louisiana Tech University in 1997 and his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU. He worked as a law clerk for Senator J. Lomax “Max” Jordan Jr. and for several law firms. After law school, he worked as a trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company before founding Babcock Injury Lawyers. His practice focuses solely on litigation, handling cases in nearly every state and federal court throughout Louisiana. He is a licensed pilot and a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution. He has secured many multi-million dollar results for clients. He is deeply committed to giving back to his community and actively supports various charitable organizations, particularly in conservation.
