About Stephen

Steve Krzyston is a Partner and Attorney at Cavanaugh & Thickens, LLC. He joined the firm in 2019. He was inspired by his father, a heart doctor, to help people. Previously, he worked at the Richland County Public Defender’s office, focusing on criminal defense. He now primarily focuses on personal injury and civil rights matters. Steve is from Orangeburg, South Carolina, attended the Trinity-Pawling School for Boys and the College of Charleston, and earned his J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. He is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, Richland County Bar Association, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, South Carolina Association for Justice, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and an Associate Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
