About Stephen

Stephen Kushner is a seasoned legal professional with over 25 years of dedicated practice in civil litigation. Born and raised in North Carolina, his passion for law began at age seven. Coming from a family of educators, he values diligence, integrity, and service. He has litigated hundreds of cases in various courts, covering personal injury, wrongful death, occupational illness, chemical exposure, insurance coverage disputes, construction defects, and breach of contract. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University in 1995 and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998. He resides in Matthews with his family and enjoys reading, running, and supporting the Duke Blue Devils and Atlanta Braves.
