About Steven
Steve first joined The Advocates in 1999 and has focused solely on handling personal injury cases for more than 25 years. He has been successful in resolving thousands of cases and has recovered over 100 million dollars for his clients. He takes pride in offering aggressive representation for people who have been hurt. Steve makes it a priority to build relationships with the personal injury victims that he represents. He wants each of his clients to feel comfortable with him and his representation. He believes The Advocates firm shares these values and he is proud to be the most experienced member of the team. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University, Steven was accepted to the Gonzaga Law School, where he was an editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. He graduated in 1996 with his Juris Doctorate. Following his graduation from law school, Steve chose to focus his practice on personal injury cases occurring in Utah. These include wrongful death cases, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, boat crashes, and slip-and-fall accidents, dog bite claims, and dangerous drug and medical device cases. Steve is a very active member of his community. Steve greatest passions include education and helping disadvantaged children. As such, Steve helped the Provo School District develop and then implement a program to help struggling elementary and high school students and their parents. Through this program, Steve volunteered as a judge with the Truancy Court for a total of four years. During his free time, he is actively involved in his own kids’ school and sports activities. Steve also has volunteered for several years as a Boy Scout adviser. Steve enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, boating, hunting, and especially riding four-wheelers and side-by-sides.
