About Steven

Steven R. Williams was born in Dinuba, California in 1951. He attended elementary and secondary schools there and was active in the 4-H program at the local, county, state, and national levels. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Reedley College and transferred to the University of California at Davis where he majored in Agricultural Economics and received his Bachelor's degree in 1973 with High Honors. Steven immediately went to law school at the University of San Diego and received his Juris Doctorate degree cum laude in 1976. After teaching agriculture in Jamaica, he returned to the Central Valley where he became an associate attorney in the law firm of Crowe, Mitchell & Crowe in Visalia. Steven has continuously remained with the firm since that time and is now the senior partner of Williams, Brodersen, Pritchett & Burke LLP where he actively practices in the areas of business and estate planning, real estate, agricultural law, and civil litigation. Steven married his wife, Denise, in 1978. They have two daughters. Steven and Denise enjoy worldwide travel mixed with good food and wine. He is also actively involved within the Visalia community through his years of service on various city and non-profit boards, including the Visalia Friends of the Fox Theater.
