About Tanner

Tanner brings over 20 years of litigation experience to each and every one of his cases. He understands that legal disputes are time consuming, costly and risky and he takes pride in guiding and advising clients through a process that can be full of stress and uncertainty. While in law school, he proudly served as law clerk to Hamilton County Judge Patrick T. Dinkelacker. In this position, he was able to see firsthand the importance of trial preparation and the role of the courts in bringing resolution to legal disputes. After passing the bar exam, Tanner worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Hamilton County and was able to begin trial practice immediately. He returned to civil work as Regional Trial Counsel for one of the country’s largest insurance companies where he represented the company and its insureds throughout Southwest Ohio for several years. In 2014, Tanner opened his own firm, focusing on general civil litigation, including personal injury matters. During that time, Tanner also taught Civil Litigation as an adjunct instructor at the University of Cincinnati. Having seen every side of the civil practice, Tanner continued his professional development and became a mediator, serving the bar in both court-appointed and private mediation roles - a part of his practice that continues here at WGM. Regardless of the stage of litigation, Tanner brings an experienced, effective, resolution-centered approach to his clients’ needs and goals. Tanner and his family are avid sports fans, community focused, and love all things outdoors. They are constantly quoting song lyrics and movie lines around the house, as they keep an eye on their two dogs.
