About Teresa

Teresa Schiller joined Lighthouse Legal Services 'of counsel' after practicing law for more than 25 years. She specializes in business law, real estate, employment law, and estate planning and probate law. She has represented clients in Texas and New York City, and worked for federal judges in Delaware and Illinois. She holds degrees from University of Chicago Law School and Rice University. Teresa has held leadership roles including former chair of State Bar of Texas Women and the Law Section, former president-elect of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, and former president of the New York Women’s Bar Association (Manhattan).
