About Tess
Tess grew up in Gillette, Wyoming, and has resided here for over 50 years. Tess began working as a legal assistant for Kathy Edelman in June 2014, focusing on family law. Tess has assisted with divorce, paternity, custody modification, and child support matters. She is involved in cases from the initial consultation to the final trial and appeal. Additionally, she routinely assists Steve with drafting pleadings and motions, conducting witness interviews, and preparing exhibits and witnesses for trial; she also helps clients through the discovery process, settlement negotiations, and mediation. Tess has a true passion for helping clients achieve their desired outcomes and navigate the stresses and frustrations they often feel when faced with decisions involving family, finances, and the future.
