After teaching history at Arlington Catholic High School for six years, he attended law school at the University of Colorado. Tom graduated from the University of Colorado in 2003 as a member of the Order of the Coif and the University of Colorado Law Review. After graduating from law school Tom practiced at the Boston-based law firm of Nutter, McClennen and Fish, LLP, where he became a partner in the Trusts and Estates department. Tom is a past president of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod and past chair of the Board at Heritage Museums and Gardens, where he continues to serve on the Board of Trustees. He was a founding member of the Fund for Sandwich, a permanent endowment fund of The Cape Cod Foundation, and he continues to serve on the Fund’s Advisory Committee. Tom’s community involvement also includes managing and coaching the Cape Cod Crushers mountain biking team and serving as a leader in Sandwich Scout Troop 47.
