About Thomas
Thomas C. Dawson, Jr. (1961-2011) was an exceptional lawyer and consummate professional. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and his JD from the TC Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where he was a member of the law review. He practiced with McKenry Dancigers Dawson since 1988. Tom was a true trial lawyer, handling hundreds of jury trials, often defending individuals or companies in civil cases. He lectured on personal injury litigation, punitive damages, and insurance coverage issues, and mentored younger lawyers. He was known for his professionalism, kindness, and dignity.
