Thomas J. Murphy is the Founder and Senior Partner of Murphy Law Firm, with over 40 years of legal experience representing workers’ compensation and personal injury claimants. He graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 1985 and established the firm in 1998. He practices in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Tom co-founded the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) and served on its Board of Directors. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and is the first and only Montana lawyer inducted as a Fellow in The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He received the MTLA’s “Appellate Advocacy Award” in 2005 and the WILG President’s Award in both 2019 and 2021.
