About Thomas

Tom received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1992. Tom first served as a law clerk to the senior judges of Allegheny County from 1994-2001. Since being admitted to the Pennsylvania bar, Tom has practiced mostly in the areas of family law, immigration law and consumer protection. Mr. Papadakos currently serves as an appearance counsel for J.P. Ward & Associates. He has argued over 1,000 cases protecting clients from debt collectors throughout his career. Tom is admitted to practice in all state courts in Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Tom is the youngest son of the late Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Nicholas P. Papadakos who served on the state’s high court from 1983-1995. In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with his son Joseph, photography, writing music and rooting on his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams.
