
About Timothy
Timothy C. Kelleher III is a partner at Jones Kelleher and has been a trial lawyer since 1990. His practice focuses on civil litigation including serious personal injury cases, general liability, product liability, construction site litigation, medical malpractice, and civil rights litigation. His experience has included the successful trial, arbitration, and mediation of a wide variety of cases over the last 33 years. Tim and his Partners have obtained many seven and eight figure results for individuals and their families. Since 2011 Tim has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the publications of Best Lawyers in America and Boston’s Best Lawyers in the category of personal injury litigation, plaintiffs, and in 2017 Tim was also selected for inclusion in the category of product liability litigation, plaintiffs. The publication named Tim Lawyer of the Year, Product Liability Litigation Plaintiffs in 2018 and again for 2020, as well as Lawyer of the Year Personal Injury Litigation Plaintiffs for 2021 and 2024. He has received the MATA President’s Award on seven different occasions. Tim has also received the prestigious MBA Community Service Award for his efforts on the End Distracted Driving program. Tim is a member of the American Association for Justice and past member of its Council of Presidents. Tim is also active in the Massachusetts Bar Association. He has served on the Joint Bar Committee. The JBC reviews and considers judicial applications for the courts of the Commonwealth. Tim is admitted to practice in all Massachusetts Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He has participated in trial practice seminars; he has written and contributed to numerous articles in the area of civil litigation and trial practice. Tim is a graduate of Boston College (B.A., cum laude, 1987) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., 1990). While at Suffolk University Law School, he was a member of the Suffolk University National Trial Team, recipient of the Harold B. Goodwin, Jr. Best Trial Advocate Award, and a member of the Board of Editors of the Suffolk University Law Review. He is a native of Brockton, Massachusetts and lives in Canton, Massachusetts where he and his wife raised their four children. They continue to be active members in their community.
