This is the largest verdict in Illinois state history for a single Plaintiff. The incident occurred at a behavioral health center due to gross inadequacies that are systemic across the industry. The lackluster safety protocols and understaffing issues that often exist at these facilities are now changing as a result. The verdict sparked a movement toward stronger accountability across healthcare systems to protect these vulnerable patient populations. These are just a few examples of his past courtroom battles. Tim devotes himself to uncovering wrongdoing and seeking justice for his clients. His goal in every case is to help repair the lives of his clients that have been devastated by the reckless conduct of others, to do everything possible to ensure it never happens again to anyone else, and to make the litigation process as easy and stress-free for his clients as possible. In addition to the above landmark efforts, Tim has obtained settlements or verdicts in complex cases exceeding $1 million for his clients on 50 separate occasions, recovering in excess of $4 million or more on over half of those cases. His verdicts and settlements for his clients exceed $800 million for his injured clients. These outcomes have driven institutional changes and compelled companies and healthcare providers to adopt safer practices, preventing future harm to others. In addition to getting compensation for his clients, he believes the goal in every case should be to send a message to the relevant industry, to have safer practices so that what happened to his clients does not happen again.
