About Tina

Kiranpreet Vashishat (Tina) is currently an articling student at Cambria LLP. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria (UVic) in British Columbia. During her legal studies, Tina volunteered with UVic’s Business Law Clinic and the Law Centre, where she worked as a student at law working handling multiple case files. In this capacity, she gained hands-on experience across a wide range of legal areas, including family law, criminal law, human rights, intellectual property and patent law, employment law, administrative law, and corporate law. Tina has developed skills in drafting legal documents, conducting thorough research, and advocating for clients. She has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, Alberta’s Provincial courts, Alberta King's Bench and administrative tribunals. Outside of her professional life, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to discover new places and hidden gems. Whether uncovering a cozy restaurant with a unique menu or enjoying breathtaking landscapes around the world, she thrives on adventure and the joy of new experiences. Prior to pursuing law, Tina gained valuable experience in business management consulting and accounting, where she helped start-ups, businesses, and non-profits improve their operations and implement internal system changes to foster growth.
