Bay Area Injury Attorney Todd P. Emanuel is the founder managing partner of the firm. In 2024 Todd was recognized as Trial Lawyer of the Year by the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. He has been given the honor of being selected as a “Northern California Superlawyer” every year from 2009 through 2024 based on peer recognition and great achievements in representing personal injury plaintiffs. Todd has also been selected as a 2022 “Elite Lawyer” recognizing attorneys who have displayed a high level of competence in their practice and received acknowledgment from their peers, community, bar, and committees. Mr. Emanuel started his legal career in 1993 developing his courtroom skills as a successful criminal prosecutor and defense attorney. Since then, he has won multiple significant jury awards and settlements in the areas of Sexual Assault, Traumatic Brain Injury, Wrongful Death, and Civil Rights Violations. He has been a reliable champion for victims of sexual abuse and gender violence, including cases where the perpetrators were never arrested or criminally prosecuted. Having represented countless clients with PTSD, Todd applies a trauma-informed approach to develop trust with his clients and to empower them to tackle litigation in a manner that maximizes the therapeutic value of seeking civil justice and avoids retraumatizing as much as possible. Todd has a long track record of defeating high net worth individuals, large insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, and wealthy corporations. His extensive trial experience is respected by opposing counsel. Maintaining a smaller law firm and a selective caseload allows Mr. Emanuel to regularly communicate with clients and to fully engage himself in the detailed preparation of important cases.
