TURNER C. SCOTT, a former Solicitor for the City of Newport and a former assistant Solicitor for the Towns of Middletown and Portsmouth, has extensive experience in municipal law, including zoning, property taxation, CRMC and DEM regulation, eminent domain, adverse possession, boundary disputes, and other property law issues. Mr. Scott is a distinguished military graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, served in the U.S. Army, and retired from the Rhode Island National Guard with the rank of Colonel, having served as the State Judge Advocate. Mr. Scott also engages in general civil practice, including condominium law, environmental law, municipal law and real estate transactions.
