Tyler Paul Smith (or 'TP' as we like to call him) is as west Georgia as they come. He was born and raised in Haralson County, Georgia where he lives on his family’s 160+ year old farm. Saying that his roots run deep in the area is an understatement. He is a skilled litigator ready to take on any case that requires courtroom advocacy. His simple upbringing equips him with the ability to take on complex legal matters and boil them down into simple terms. His clients appreciate his ability to do so. His dedication to the communities of west Georgia is also impressive. In 2020, Tyler Paul was elected to Georgia’s House of Representatives representing residents of Carroll and Haralson Counties. While most politicians only like the shaking hands part of politics, Tyler Paul dove into his first legislative session headfirst sponsoring legislation that led to criminal probation reform aimed at helping those convicted of crimes. He also sponsored numerous bills aimed at helping residents of his district. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Citadel: The Military College of South Carolina and his law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
