Walter J. Leger, Jr. is a Senior Partner at Leger & Shaw, a former President of the New Orleans Bar Association, and has served as Chairman of the Board of the New Orleans regional Chamber of Commerce. He was named one of twelve 'Louisiana Legal Legends' by the Louisiana Bar Journal and has received numerous awards for his leadership and public service. He has extensive experience in maritime and admiralty law, class actions, and complex litigation, and was actively involved in hurricane recovery efforts after Katrina.
