About Wes
Wes Chaplin is a 1995 graduate of Central College, and a 1998 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1998, and is also licensed to practice in the State of Missouri. Wes has practiced at Kreykes & Chaplin, PLC since 2001. He and his wife, Michelle, have three grown children. Wes has served in various charitable capacities in Marion County, including as President of the Pella Rotary Club, as an elder at Liberty Evangelical Free Church, as a board member with Marion County United Way, and as legal counsel for Habitat for Humanity and other charitable organizations. Wes’s legal practice includes representation of clients in family law, personal injury/wrongful death matters, criminal defense, estate planning, commercial transactions, and business planning. In his free time, Wes enjoys training for and racing in triathlons, playing pickleball and tennis, and volunteering as a high school youth leader in his church’s youth ministry.
