Bill is a Pike County native. He graduated from Virgie High School, Eastern Kentucky University, the University of Kentucky Law School and began practicing law in Pike County in 1975. Bill served as Staff Attorney and as an Executive Officer of Community Trust Bank, with over 22 years of banking and banking law experience. For 22 years Bill served as general counsel at Community Trust Bank. Bill focuses on personal injury, business disputes, complex probate litigation, and representing consumers who have been wronged by banks, financial institutions, and lenders. Bill has successfully represented both individuals and businesses in complex litigations involving many types of commercial transactions including breach of contract, common fraud, common bad faith, has handled employee discrimination, and has extensive experience in employee discrimination claims. Bill is also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bill resides in Pikeville with his wife Shirley.
