William Flahavan received his Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of Law in 1971, where he was the Note and Comment editor for the Hastings Law Journal, a member of the Thurston Honor Society, and graduated Order of the Coif. He was admitted to the California Bar in January 1972. With over 30 years of experience, he has lectured extensively on personal injury to attorneys and insurance companies nationwide and served on the faculty at Ventura & Santa Barbara Colleges of Law. He is the lead author of the 'CALIFORNIA PERSONAL INJURY PRACTICE GUIDE' and maintains the highest 'AV' rating from Martindale-Hubbell, having received the 'Top Rated Trial Lawyer' award in 1984 and maintained it for over 30 years.
