Bill is highly invested in Bloomington’s business community and is dedicated to helping local organizations thrive. As a Bunger & Robertson partner, Bill practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and general business representation. Bill has extensive experience handling complex civil litigation in both state and federal court, and serves as lead counsel when presenting trials to juries and to the bench. Bill represents clients in litigation involving contract and business disputes, serious injuries, premises liability, construction-related cases, and real estate matters. In representing his business clients, Bill assists in forming business organizations, including corporations, LLCs and partnerships. He also assists area businesses with contractual matters, employment matters, negotiations and dissolutions. He has also practiced before planning and zoning boards throughout the state on behalf of wireless communication companies. Bill’s career has allowed him many opportunities to serve in professional organizations, including the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also a past director of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. Other activities include serving as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, past President of the Monroe County Bar Association, and as a member of the House of Delegates to the Indiana State Bar Association. In addition, Bill has served Monroe County Government as a member of the Zoning Ordinance Committee and performed pro bono services for various organizations. Bill embodies the B&R spirit of giving back to his community. He has previously served as president of the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington and the Bloomington Central Lions Club, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Monroe County YMCA. Bill has also been involved with his church, Leadership Bloomington-Monroe County, coaching youth sports, and numerous other local organizations.
