About William

William J. Williford is a personal injury attorney dedicated to zealously representing his clients. A Kentucky native, he began his legal career as a law clerk at 18. He served in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps as a Staff Sergeant (E-6), including deployments to Afghanistan with the 82d Airborne Division, Joint Special Operations Command, and 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), earning the combat action badge. He is a Department of Veterans Affairs accredited attorney and a life member of several veteran organizations. He interned with the Montgomery County, Tennessee Veterans Treatment Court and volunteers for Hospice of Southern Kentucky. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. and M.A. in English from Western Kentucky University, and a J.D. from Nashville School of Law. He is licensed in Kentucky and Tennessee, and admitted to several federal courts. He advises the Logan County High School Law Club and created the Barbara Ann Williford Memorial High School Writing Contest. He also teaches at Western Kentucky University's Society for Lifelong Learning. His practice areas include personal injury and wrongful death, covering automobile, trucking, and motorcycle accidents, product liability, bad faith insurance claims, on-the-job injuries, premises liability, and other tort actions.
