William L. Wheeler is an accomplished attorney at the Dozier Law Firm, specializing in personal injury and premises liability litigation. He is a distinguished alumnus of the University of North Georgia, where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and journalism. During his academic journey, he worked as a clerk in the Office of Legislative Council for the Georgia General Assembly. This role allowed him to showcase his expertise in legal matters. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wheeler pursued his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University’s School of Law. He excelled academically and in extracurricular activities during his time at Mercer. One of his notable accomplishments was making significant contributions to the Mercer Law Review through the publication of multiple articles. Additionally, he served on the Mercer Advocacy Council’s Negotiation team, which won several awards. He was also the Chief Prosecutor for two terms of the Student Bar Association. As part of his postgraduate endeavors, Mr. Wheeler traveled to the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom, where he delivered a lecture on Civil Rights in the United States. Originally from Athens, Georgia, William now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he enjoys playing music and rooting for the Falcons on Sundays.
