About Windy
Attorney Windy R. Ortega graduated cum laude from Charlotte School of Law and is a member of the Maryland Bar. While in law school, she participated in the Civil Rights Clinic, where she addressed police misconduct. In her practice, Ms. Ortega focuses on representing adult and juvenile clients facing criminal charges and serious traffic offenses, as well as those injured in auto accidents throughout the greater Baltimore area. She is known for her tenacity, meticulous preparation, and superior litigation skills in DUI and a wide range of criminal cases, including assaults, theft, handgun and drugs charges, and serious felonies. She has been recognized continuously by her peers as a Rising Star from 2016 to 2023, and in 2024 made the Daily Record’s Criminal Law Attorney Power List. Ms. Ortega is a member of The National College of DUI Defense, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, The Anne Arundel County Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.
