About Wyatt
Attorney Wyatt Donen was still in high school when Hurricane Katrina unleashed its fury on New Orleans. Seeing the total devastation that engulfed several of the city’s wards stoked a fire in the teenager to help those left homeless by the disaster. So he joined Habitat for Humanity’s rebuilding efforts, and persuaded classmates to join him. Wyatt became the newest member of the growing team at Custodio & Dubey LLP in May when he joined the Consumer Protection division as an associate attorney. His journey into law began with a deep-rooted desire to make a positive change in society, first with Habitat for Humanity. After high school, he saw the unjust treatment of Native Americans and others protesting the oil pipeline project at Standing Rock. He joined some friends who went to the reservation to join the protests, and that was where his eye’s opened to how becoming an attorney would best serve to bring about positive changes.
