About Zach

As the newest associate, Zach provides support to all members of the firm in their practice areas. His practice mostly focuses on personal injury and other civil litigation matters, but he also advises clients on business and other general civil litigation matters. Zach believes that good advocacy is about a listening ear, good relationships, and a good balance between standing up for rights and a focus on desired outcomes. If you need some advice on an issue he’ll help if he can. After several years in sales and marketing in a developing tech firm Zach decided to go back to the University of Idaho School of Law to pursue his real passion for justice. Zach is a member of the Idaho Law Review and enjoys a good paper. He worked as a research assistant for Associate Dean Pimentel on a variety of issues including bicycle law, right to parent legislation, and Blues and the Rule of Law. Zach also externed for the Washington Office of the Attorney General. Zach’s business experience provides perspective in client advice and negotiation. Zach is a native of Bellingham. Prior to more scholarly pursuits, Zach worked at ski areas and bike shops around the Northwest and Alaska. An avid mountain biker, skier, and outdoorsman, Zach appreciates how difficult it is for clients when their lives have been affected by injury. He strives to help client’s deal with injury and provide low-stress representation to guide them through the process of both financial and physical recovery. In his spare time you Zach is a youth group leader and enjoys skiing and biking with his wife Keyaira. Zach plays the drums in two local bands.
