Zoltan Pinter, a trial and corporate attorney, joined Leighton Panoff Law in September 2009. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury, violent crime/inadequate security, medical malpractice, product liability, business tort litigation, agricultural business and litigation, fraud investigation and litigation. He has over 20 years of litigation, corporate and business experience, including serving as General Counsel in both publicly and privately held agricultural companies. His background includes toxic tort, asbestos, complex fraud matters, products liability litigation, SEC matters, public offerings, corporate finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, governmental relations, and international contracts. Prior to joining Leighton Panoff Law, Mr. Pinter handled major litigation cases at Adorno & Yoss and Popham, Haik et al., focusing on first party insurance defense, personal injury insurance defense, insurance fraud litigation and products liability defense. He began his legal career as a legal intern for the Honorable Thomas E. Scott (retired) United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida, after working as an auditor for a “Big Four” accounting firm, specializing in S.E.C. matters and the health care industry. He also served as an adjunct professor of accounting at the University of Miami and Miami Dade College. He is a licensed attorney in Florida, Minnesota and New York with a Martindale-Hubbell BV rating. He is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida; and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (General and Trial Bars).
