North Carolina Court of Appeals upheld a lower court’s rejection of a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of an Ocean Isle Beach man electrocuted in a marina construction mishap. The ruling found that the victim's own negligence contributed to his death, effectively dismissing the lawsuit.
