Plaintiff suffered from pelvic organ prolapse, implanted with Gynecare Prolift, experienced mesh erosion, scar tissue, inflammation, and neurologic compromise, requiring 18 corrective surgeries. This was the first of about 1,800 lawsuits against J&J in New Jersey.
