21-year-old Denis Preka tragically passed away after unknowingly ingesting MDMA (Molly) provided to him by the defendant, who claimed it was Adderall. The defendant and others laughed and uploaded videos of him to Snapchat while his condition deteriorated. Awarded damages for conscious pain and suffering, as well as loss of society and companionship. Largest single death verdict in Michigan history.
