A young man was killed by a truck driver while riding his bike home from work. While riding his bike, he was wearing high vis long pants and a high vis jacket. He was riding along the pedestrian cross way at an intersection when a truck driver impermissibly failed to stop. The driver was under the influence while operating his employer’s vehicle on his way in to work. The client was unmarried, but had a young daughter with his fiancé. He was the sole provider for the family and was only 32 years old. Gina and Kaitlyn were able to resolve the case for the full underlying and excess policy limits for three million dollars.
