Case Details
Allan and Doris were passengers on a United Airlines flight from Denver to Chicago. During the flight, the engine and hydraulic system of the aircraft failed, causing it to crash to the ground and resulting in Allan’s death and Doris’ brain and spinal injuries.

On July 19, 1989, a United Airlines DC-10 aircraft was scheduled to fly from Denver, Colorado to Chicago, Illinois but crashed into an open field at the Sioux City, Iowa airport. McDonnell Douglas Corporation, General Electric Company, and United Airlines were found at fault.
