Secured a win for a client, a public health agency, in a data security breach case by successfully moving to dismiss five of seven claims in a putative class action lawsuit. Claims included breach of fiduciary duty of confidentiality, implied breach of contract, invasion of privacy by public disclosure of private facts, violations of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, and negligence per se.
