The South Carolina Court of Appeals reversed and remanded a trial court's decision, finding that Frederick Gentner was negligent in a vehicular accident. The case was sent back for a new trial after the trial court erred in denying a motion for directed verdict on Gentner's negligence.

The trial court erred in (1) denying her motion for a directed verdict and judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV) on the issue of Frederick Gentner’s negligence, and (2) presenting an erroneous and prejudicial charge to the jury as a result of the denial of her directed verdict motion. We reverse and remand.
