Settlement from a Chicago hospital for failing to place a five-year-old boy on a respirator following tracheotomy revision surgery, which resulted in a lack of oxygen when his tracheostomy tube came out or was blocked. He was left in a persistent vegetative state with limited remaining life expectancy.
