Case Details

Patrick Scott, a former service station owner, was awarded $6,825,000 in a settlement against Ford Motor Company. Scott developed asbestos mesothelioma after consistent exposure to asbestos-containing Ford car parts. The jury found Ford products defectively designed and the company negligent for failing to warn of dangers.
