Reportedly the largest Connecticut Workers’ Compensation settlement awarded, on behalf of a 19 YEAR OLD undocumented worker who fell from a roof during the course of his labor and was left paralyzed. The $4.5 Million settlement was reached after several years when the injured worker expressed a desire to move back to Guatemala to be closer to family. The award included the purchase and renovation of suitable housing and provisions for ongoing medical care.
