Jury awards $6.1 million to victims of automobile accident in Grant County jury trial. This case arose as a result of a car collision in which two teens were injured. Karen L. Roush was the driver of a 2005 Mercury Monterey which was alleged to have crossed center line at a high rate of speed injuring the two teens in the other vehicle. Roush was ultimately held 100% responsible for the accident.

The only settlements which were offered prior to the jury trial were in the range of $200,000 to $600,000.
