Settlement in a premises liability case against a Fredericksburg movie theater owner for a child who suffered a traumatic brain injury as a baby. An adult carrying the child slipped on a wet floor after deep carpet cleaning, dropping the baby on his head.
Additional Notes
The defense contended the child had no residual effects, but plaintiff showed diffuse brain lesions using advanced MRI and PET scan technology. Counsel are working on structuring the settlement to provide lifetime security for the child.
