Case Details
Mary Carignan, a passenger on a motorcycle, suffered a fractured hip requiring replacement surgery after a Winnebago turned in front of them, directed by Speedway personnel. A Belknap County Superior Court jury returned a verdict of $1.2 million after a one-week trial, which was successfully argued before the New Hampshire Supreme Court twice to preserve the verdict.
