Consolidated claims filed under the Federal Employee’s Liability Act (FELA). Individual awards: Albito Velez-Zapata ($8 million), Lincoln Aguirre ($6 million), James Harrington ($2.4 million). The jury found LIRR failed to warn workers of asbestos dangers and protect them. This was Alan Friedman's second multi-million dollar verdict against LIRR for asbestosis and lung disease. Case decided on April 26, 2006.
