Case Details
A young man was killed by a drunk driver while crossing the street in Parma Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The father, mother, and brother of the young man received a settlement from the drunk driver’s liability insurance policy, as well as from the family’s underinsured motorist carrier. The drunk driver had minimal liability coverage. Fortunately, the victim’s family carried underinsured motorist benefits which provided coverage due to the minimal liability insurance of the drunk driver.
