Additional Notes
In January 2016, Seth T. Weinstein, Esq., co-director at Sokoloff & Weinstein, P.A., resolved a car versus motorcycle collision. Mr. Weinstein’s client, a middle aged, long-standing United States Postal Employee was struck, as a non-helmet wearing motorcycle driver, by an automobile operator, who failed to yield right of way. The victim of this motorcycle accident sustained multiple lacerations, hematomas and contusions to his head, which required stitches. He also sustained injuries to his torso, genitals and testicles, aggravation of pre-existing cervical and lumbar disc herniations, and a concussion along with post-concussive syndrome. Additionally, the motorcycle driver suffered bilateral hearing deficiencies greater in one ear than the other, which required a corrective hearing aid. The case was settled for a sum of $375,000.00.
